June 29th, 2015 I walked into my boss’s office via her request. I had just came back from a 2 week vacation and was feeling renewed. Sometimes you just need a break from the monotony of the day-to-day schedule and just needed a little encouragement from the sunshine to de-stressed. During my vacation in the… Continue reading So….. “Life is Suffering”–First Noble Truth of Buddhism
The First Noble Truth of Buddhism is “Life Is Suffering.” Meaning that human nature is not perfect and neither is the world we live in. During our lifetime we are going to endure physical, emotional and spiritual suffering. I think we Westerns do ourselves a disservice when our Western Thought is that “Life is Happiness.” Meaning that we should not endure suffering and if we do it’s because we have done something wrong; we’ve made the wrong decisions or we’ve allowed the wrong person to come into our life. And when something DOES go wrong, we tend to focus on that one thing because Life is supposed to be Happiness. But I think we should switch that thought around, that life is going to be physically, emotionally and spiritually tough. If we do that, then when something truly AMAZING happens, we’ll focus on that amazing thing, and we’ll love that amazing thing…and our happiness at that particular moment will be tenfold.

I’ve been called Bitter before, but I think the girl meant jealous–as if I was jealous of the parade of losers she brought in and out of her life every other month. LOL But Bitter in every sense of the word when it comes to romance or relationships? I don’t think I’m in the category.… Continue reading Difference Between a Bitter Woman and an Indifferent Woman

Valentine’s Day draws out a lot of emotions from people. For some it’s love–it reminds them of the person they have, the people who blesses them everyday with their presence. But, for most, it’s a reminder that you are once again SINGLE in a world that values you on whether or not you’re wanted by… Continue reading The Best Revenge
